Eric Iyoob is a Cinematographer based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, known for his work with 16mm and 35mm film. A self-taught filmmaker, he began with a grassroots approach-learning shooting, editing, and color grading from the ground up. His roots in skateboard filmmaking shaped a visual language centered on experimentation, instinct, and raw visual impact. Eric’s early professional work included music videos shot entirely on celluloid. That experience sparked a shift towards narrative storytelling and a deeper pursuit of emotionally charged imagery. He is drawn to stories rooted in realism and movement, with a visual style defined by tactile texture, high contrast, authenticity, and an emphasis on natural, lived-in environments. His work embraces imperfection, grain, and spontaneity-favoring the visceral over the pristine.
